About Premier Craft Homes
Our Story
Premier Craft Homes was founded in 2016 with a focus on framing and foundation contracts. Our speed, precision, and consistently high‑quality work quickly earned us a steady stream of projects and helped establish our reputation within the Okanagan building industry. As demand grew, we expanded our team, forming multiple crews of skilled builders and completing 30–40 framing contracts each year.
In 2018, we broadened our capabilities by launching Premier Craft Earthworks. This division took on large‑scale projects across the Okanagan, specializing in demolitions, landscaping, new‑build site prep, retaining walls, and civil earthworks. This expansion allowed us to support projects from the ground up — literally.
By 2021, with the support of a local builder, Premier Craft Homes supervised its first full home and carriage house build. This project became a pivotal learning experience, helping us refine the skills, systems, and organizational structure required to manage a complete build from permits through to occupancy. It also clarified the path toward our long‑term goal: becoming a Registered Licensed Builder.
To achieve this, we made the strategic decision to step back from Premier Craft Earthworks and dedicate our time to mastering every aspect of the building process — from construction techniques to business management. This commitment paid off when we officially earned our status as a Registered Licensed Builder through the BC Housing Registry.
